Melton Mowbray Road2Recovery 5k & 10k

 

 

SUNDAY 10th JUNE 2018

Eye Kettleby Lakes near Melton Mowbray

 

This year we have added both a 5k race and a 10k race to our race calendar. Both will have officially chipped times with a gun start and will use the same finishing gantry as our half marathon.

All runners will receive a complimentary t-shirt and a commemorative medal.

 

Both races will start around the beautiful lakes and then use the quiet country roads around Eye Kettleby before approaching the finishing line that overlooks the stunning lake as you enter the grounds.

 

Children are very welcome but will be expected to be under the supervision of responsible adults and due to RunBritain insurance there is a minimum age limit of 15 years for the 10k and 12 years for the 5k.

10k Race

UKA Registered Runners @ £17 & Unregistered runners @ £19

Minimum age 15.

5k Race

UKA Registered Runners @ £12 & Unregistered runners @ £14

Minimum age 12.

We will still be holding our 1 mile fun run within the grounds of Eye Kettleby Lakes but only with entries on the day @ £6 per child. (An adult can run Free with children under 8)

All the CHILDREN taking part in the 1 mile FunRun will receive a medal and chocolate

We will have a fantastic magician to entertain the children and a variety of games that they can play.

 

There will be a choice of eating options including a hog roast, burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, cakes, sweets and hot & cold drinks.
