Road2Recovery Half Marathon & Fun Run

The Half Marathon starts at 10:30am

Jason Barton (Stilton Striders) was the winner in our first Road2Recovery Half Marathon in a time of 1:19:25.

Come and join us for this exciting new event for this area. Our half marathon route will take you around some of the most scenic lanes in Leicestershire starting and finishing in the beautiful setting of Eye Kettleby Lakes.

Our half marathon participants will benefit from post-race massages (donations to NSIF), chip timing, computerised race results, free parking, drink stations, fresh fruit plus much more.

Registration will be open on Saturday 18th June from 2pm to 6pm

As with most half marathons we will be giving away goodie bags to all the entrants but in addition to the usual shirt, medal and other goodies we will also include the special bonus of the signed autobiography by Claire Lomas, Finding my Feet.

The first 250 to enter will also receive a Road2Recovery Jogger Water Bottle

Pre-race warm up by Michelle Kent Fitness and pre & post massages provided by Function Jigsaw

EARLY BIRD PRICE: Enter before 1st March 2016 for the reduced cost of

Half Marathon Affiliated runners: £22  Non-Affiliated: £25  Fun Run : £5

 

After March 1st 2016 the price reverts back to

Half Marathon Affiliated runners: £24  Non-Affiliated: £28  Fun Run £6

The first 250 to enter will receive a Road2Recovery Jogger Water Bottle

Please note: Open headphones will be permitted but you do so at your own risk.

ALL ESSENTIAL INFORMATION WILL BE EMAILED TO THE RUNNERS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

As with all Claire Lomas Fundraising Events, 100% of the profit will go

to the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation who are making worldwide news with their groundbreaking research into the cure for paralysis. Your support would be greatly appreciated and we have sponsorship forms available if you want to help raise more vital funds.

The money raised will help fund an exciting clinical trial of ten patients.
